Course Description
The CECOS HAZWOPER for Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Site Workers-Refresher training is an eight-hour course that provides personnel who work at/or oversee work at uncontrolled hazardous waste sites with the required annual health and safety training they need to perform their duties safely and in compliance with federal regulation, 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(8).
*Please Note: This course is available LIVE (In Person), VIRTUAL, and ONLINE. The offerings listed are for virtual or live/instructor-led 8-Hr Refresher course offerings. The Virtual Offerings will be taught in the time zone of the city listed and, unless otherwise noted, students from other locations are welcome to attend).
The ONLINE version (CDP 740X) is now only available for registration via eNTRS.
*Please review the “Personnel Eligible” criteria to determine your eligibility for the 8-Hr Refresher ONLINE course. Please do not submit a quota request unless you meet the eligibility requirements outlined below.

Personnel Eligible
Due to the limited number of seats approved by NAVFAC and HQ USMC, CECOS is only able to accommodate quota requests for the 8-Hr Refresher ONLINE course from individuals who work directly in support of Navy/Marine Corps Environmental Cleanup/Restoration programs.
If you are NOT working in support of NAVFAC or USMC, and need to meet requirements per 29 CFR 1910.120(e), we welcome you to register for one of our live offerings listed below.
Quota Control
If you meet the above criteria, please register for the 8-Hr Refresher ONLINE course (CDP 740X) using eNTRS. There is 1 offering per month of the Online version listed in eNTRS. Simply register in the month that you want to take the course. Once registered, you will be e-mailed a login PIN and course instructions within 10 business days. You will have 30 days to complete the course. A course certificate will be e-mailed to you within 10 business days of course completion. ATTENTION: As of 15 November 2024, The Hazwoper Refresher, CDP 740X, is temporarily unavailable pending receipt of FY25 Funding. In the meantime, register for any of the offerings listed under CDP 335F.
