The DoD STED Program exhibited multiple sustainable technologies currently being demonstrated or planned for demonstration under the STED Program to the Marine Corps Gunners attending the 2024 USMC Gunner Symposium at MCB Quantico on August 13, 2024.
Exhibited technologies included reusable recycled rubber small arms targets; biobased weapons cleaner, lubricant, and preservative (CLP); biobased rifle bore cleaner; LED alternatives to single use chem lights; biobased multipurpose lubricants; Faraday bags; intelligent equipment and key locker systems; non-lethal simulated training firearms; and modular training infrastructure.
