NAVFAC MIDLANT PWDýMaine Natural Resource Manager along with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife (DIF&W) Regional Biologist released two yearling whiteýtail deer fawns at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic Detachment (NCTAMSLANT DET) Cutler installation located in Cutler, Maine. The release occurred as part of an experimental partnership with the Maine DIF&W. The goal of the partnership is to determine if Cutler will work as an approved deer release site for rehabilitated deer from the surrounding county.
